Slanted Door San Ramon

Hom-Pisano provided structural engineering services for Charles Phan’s Slanted Door at City Center Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, California. A structurally independent mechanical mezzanine is framed with light gage steel and houses all kitchen and HVAC equipment. The HVAC plenum that wraps around the perimeter of the space is also framed with light gage steel that is suspended from the floor framing above. Structural services also included the design of concrete masonry surrounds for a new custom wood-fired oven and steel support framing for a custom floating engineered stone sink.
